The Top 40 Pop songs – Week 50 of 2024 – OnlyHit Charts

This week's top 40 chart reveals a relatively stable top five with no movement in the top four slots. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars continue their reign at number one with "Die With A Smile" for the twelfth consecutive week. ROSÉ and Bruno Mars' "APT." maintains its runner-up status for the fifth week. Billie Eilish's "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" remains at third, while Chappell Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!" stays settled in fourth place. A noteworthy leap is Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You," climbing from number ten to secure the fifth position, marking its best position since charting two weeks ago.
Significant shifts emerge beyond the top five, with "Sailor Song" by Gigi Perez slipping one spot to sixth and The Weeknd and Playboi Carti's "Timeless" inching down to seventh. KAROL G's "Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido" ascends a place to eighth, showing resilience after 24 weeks in the charts. "Tu Boda" and "WILDFLOWER" by Billie Eilish both experience slight declines, landing at ninth and tenth, respectively. Notably, Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "luther" makes a strong debut, entering the chart at number 11.

Among other notable movements, Stromae and Pomme's track from "Arcane League of Legends," "Ma Meilleure Ennemie," debuts at 14, and Sia's "Snowman" enters the chart at 16. Sabrina Carpenter sees "Espresso" move slightly upward to position 15, while "Please Please Please" drifts down to 28. Coldplay's classic "Yellow" returns to the charts, reappearing at 26 after some time away, while Bruno Mars introduces "That's What I Like" at 29.

Lower in the ranks, songs appear more volatile, with several tracks experiencing downward momentum. "The Emptiness Machine" by Linkin Park dips to 17, "Who" by Jimin downshifts to 19, and "Move" by Adam Port and collaborators falls to 27. Notably, Linkin Park sees a marked decline with "Numb," dropping to 36. The chart's lower half signals a period of recalibration, potentially setting the stage for more significant shifts in the weeks to follow.
