The Top 40 Pop songs – Week 33 of 2024 – OnlyHit Charts

Stability continues at the top of the charts this week as Billie Eilish’s "BIRDS OF A FEATHER" maintains its grip on the number one spot for the eighth consecutive week. Sabrina Carpenter’s "Please Please Please" climbs to the second position, swapping places with her own track "Espresso," which moves down to number three. Chappell Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!" and Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" both hold their positions at fourth and fifth, respectively, marking a week of minimal change within the top five.
Further down, there's noticeable upward movement as Tommy Richman’s "MILLION DOLLAR BABY" ascends from ninth to eighth place, while Jimin's "Who" also climbs to reach the ninth spot from its previous position at tenth. In contrast, Billie Eilish's "LUNCH" takes a slight dip from eighth to tenth. Noteworthy jumps also include Sevdaliza’s collaboration "Alibi," which rises to eleventh, and David Guetta and OneRepublic's "I Don't Wanna Wait," which leaps from twenty-first to eighteenth place.

This week introduces a couple of new entries: Charli XCX and Billie Eilish's collaboration "Guess" premieres at twenty-fifth, while a-ha’s classic "Take on Me" makes a surprising return at thirty-third. Both tracks bring fresh energy to the lower half of the top 40, suggesting evolving tastes among listeners.

Elsewhere, there are more subtle shifts as some tracks descend the ranking—Eminem's "Houdini" drops from twentieth to twenty-fourth, and several songs, including Kygo and Ava Max's "Whatever," gradually slide down. Despite these changes, the chart predominantly reflects established hits' continued prowess, with artists like Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter dominating multiple spots.
