The Top 40 Pop songs – Week 49 of 2024 – OnlyHit Charts

This week's top 40 chart sees several notable moves and new entries, though the top spots remain unchanged. “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars continues to dominate at number one for the eleventh consecutive week, with “APT.” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars holding strong at number two. Billie Eilish’s “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” stays steady in third position, marking its twenty-fourth week on the chart. The top five is rounded out by Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” and Gigi Perez’s “Sailor Song,” both holding their places from last week.
The upper half of the chart sees some upward momentum, notably with The Weeknd and Playboi Carti's “Timeless” climbing to sixth place, up from seventh, and Billie Eilish’s “WILDFLOWER” making a notable rise to number seven from ninth last week. Conversely, KAROL G’s “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” experiences a slip, falling from sixth to ninth. Notably, Mariah Carey's perennial holiday favorite, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” makes its chart debut at number ten, signaling the start of the festive music season.

In terms of significant jumps, Teddy Swims' “Bad Dreams” makes the most impressive leap, rising from 36th to 29th place in only its second week on the chart. The Goo Goo Dolls' classic “Iris” also moves up from 35th to 30th, maintaining its resurgence. Meanwhile, several tracks face downward pressure, such as Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” dropping from 13th to 16th and Rauw Alejandro and Bad Bunny's “Qué Pasaría...” debuting at number 24.
