Paul McCartney veröffentlicht sein 18. Soloalbum "The Boys of Dungeon Lane" am 29. Mai. Das Album ist sein erstes seit "McCartney III" in 2020.

Das Projekt begann fünf Jahre ago mit Produzent Andrew Watt. McCartney nahm das Album während Pausen von Touring auf, mit Sessions in Los Angeles und Sussex. Das Label gab ihnen keine Deadlines.

The Track "Home To Us" features ein Duett mit Ringo Starr. Chrissie Hynde und Sharleen Spiteri provide backing Vocals. McCartney built das Song around ein Drum Track Starr recorded nach McCartney und Watt requested it.

McCartney plays most der Instruments selbst.

The Album Artwork ist ein Collage using over 100 images from McCartney's personal Archive, including unpublished Photos der young Beatles.
