Ayase Announces First Solo EP 'dialogue'

Ayase, the composer and lyricist behind YOASOBI, will release his first solo EP on May 27. The five-track collection, titled 'dialogue', is preceded by the single "うるさ (Urusa)" on May 20.

The EP is a fully self-produced work. Ayase handled all lyrics, composition, arrangement, and vocals.

All five tracks are non-tie-up songs. The lead single "うるさ" is described as a danceable electro tune. Other tracks include the old-school-infused title track "dialogue" and "PLANETS."

In a statement, Ayase said, "YOASOBI and Ayase will both get even more serious from here."

Ayase has topped Billboard Japan's annual composer and lyricist charts for two consecutive years. His solo Vocaloid cover "夜撫でるメノウ" has surpassed 100 million streams. His songwriting credits include LiSA and Uru's "再会," Hey! Say! JUMP's "千夜一夜," and theme songs for anime series 'Buddy Daddies' and 'Rurouni Kenshin'.

The EP 'dialogue' and the single "うるさ" will be available globally via digital platforms.
