Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu Concludes with Final Volume and 2026 Movie

Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu will conclude with its 14th volume. The 13th volume, released on January 8, 2026, marks the penultimate chapter in the series.

The manga, which has sold over 7 million copies, will also expand into a theatrical release. The movie is scheduled for a nationwide release in Japan on February 13, 2026. The anime adaptation aired in 2023 and 2024.

Written by Norio Sakurai, the story follows the unlikely romance between introverted high school student Kyotaro Ichikawa and the outgoing Anna Yamada. The series won the top spot in the "Next Manga Awards" in 2020.

In addition to the main series, a new spin-off titled Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu: Love Comedy ga Hajimaranai has been released. This spin-off focuses on Kyotaro's sister, Kana Ichikawa, and her comedic romantic misadventures.

Akita Shoten, founded in 1948, publishes Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu.
