BURNOUT SYNDROMES 'PHOENIX' MV for 'Haikyuu!!' Premieres on Jump Channel

A new music video for BURNOUT SYNDROMES' song 'PHOENIX', themed around the hit series Haikyuu., premieres tomorrow. It is the 58th entry in the ongoing JUMP MV collaboration between Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump and Sony Music.

The MV will premiere on the official Jump Channel YouTube channel on August 19 at 19:00 JST. The song 'PHOENIX' was the band's fifth major single, created with the emotions felt during the Shiratorizawa story arc of the series.

BURNOUT SYNDROMES, a three-piece band formed in 2005, is known for its literary lyrics and intricate arrangements. They have performed theme songs for several globally popular anime series. The band completed their first world tour in 2022 and a solo US tour in 2024, marking their 20th anniversary in 2025 and 10th major debut anniversary this year.

The original 'PHOENIX' music video is available on YouTube. A digital compilation titled 'Haikyuu. x BURNOUT SYNDROMES - Theme Song Feast -' is also available for streaming.

The JUMP MV project features collaborations between Weekly Shonen Jump properties and Sony Music artists. The playlist includes videos for series like Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero Academia.

The Jump Channel, operated by Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions (ShoPro) on behalf of Shueisha, has over 2.65 million subscribers. It hosts a variety of content including anime streams, special PVs, voice comics, and drawing videos from Jump artists.
