The TV anime 'Clevatess II - The Beast King and the Legend of the False Hero' has released its second promotional video and key visual ahead of its July 2026 premiere. The new PV introduces three new characters and features the ending theme song 'Awake Anew' by MYTH & ROID.

The second key visual shows main characters Kuren and Alicia in the uniforms of the seminary that serves as the second season's setting. The new promotional video opens with a narration by the seminary's headmaster, Roheim, voiced by Shiro Sano. It features scenes of students activating crests and dynamic magical action sequences.

New cast members include Sarasa, voiced by Misaki Kuno, Edison, voiced by Koutaro Nishiyama, and Mirea, voiced by Akira Sekine. Their character voices are heard for the first time in the new PV.

MYTH & ROID provided a comment on their ending theme. "The theme of this song is 'self-acceptance'," the group stated. "It's a song that empathizes with the characters as they face a past they don't want to accept and aspects of themselves they don't want to acknowledge, gaining a new self beyond that struggle." The song 'Awake Anew' was written specifically for the series.

The anime's second season is scheduled to begin broadcast in July 2026. The series is based on the LINE Manga original fantasy 'Clevatess - The Beast King, the Infant, and the Corpse Hero' by Yuji Iwahara. The first season aired in 2025.
