Digimon Beatbreak Final Chapter Premieres August 9, Free Episode Batch on YouTube

The final chapter of the TV anime DIGIMON BEATBREAK, the first new TV anime in the franchise in two years, begins broadcasting in Japan on August 9. Toei Animation has released the key visual and details for the "Asuka Chapter."

The visual shows protagonist Tomorou Tenma and his partner Gekkomon reaching toward his brother, Asuka Tenma, who has become cold-hearted.

Episode 42, titled "Sakura's Friendship," airs on August 9. In it, Tomorou visits Asuka in the hospital with Kyō, who shares unknown memories of Asuka that contain the secret of Kougamon's birth.

Global Streaming and Free Catch-Up

The series streams globally on Prime Video, Hulu, and other platforms shortly after the Japanese broadcast. The official Digimon YouTube channel will host a limited-time free batch of episodes.

From August 8 to August 14, episodes 38 through 41—the entire "Kyō Chapter"—will be available for free on YouTube. This batch covers the story of Kyō and Murasamemon.

Anime Music Video Released

An official anime music video has been released. The MV, set to the opening theme "Mad Pulse" by MADKID, compiles highlights from the series' first 41 episodes.

The series follows Tomorou Tenma after he meets Gekkomon, a Digimon born from an AI support device, and joins the bounty hunter team "Growing Dawn."

The final "Asuka Chapter" begins airing August 9 on Fuji TV and affiliated stations in Japan at 9:00 AM JST. International streaming follows on platforms including Prime Video and Hulu.
