‘Do You Think Someone Like You Could Defeat the Demon Lord?’ Episode 5 Preview

The upcoming fifth episode, ‘Ruthlessness and Friendship,’ airs February 5.

Flam and Sera return to their inn to find a massacre underway, with Dain’s subordinates attacking the Studd family and Milkit. An enraged Flam deals with them mercilessly, leaving Sera disturbed by her cold execution.

Meanwhile, at the demons’ castle, the three demon generals discuss Flam’s ‘Reversal’ power. They question why a mere country girl was chosen as a hero and solidify a new resolve as they search for answers.

The episode is scripted by Mariko Kunisawa, with storyboards by Nobuharu Kamanaka and direction by Tsuneo Tomine. The chief animation directors are Takaaki Fukuse, Fumio Matsumoto, and Takafumi Furusawa.

Veteran voice actress Kikuko Inoue, who provides the series narration, will select the key visual shown during the broadcast’s sponsor frames.
