Erika Ikuta Releases Anime Ending Theme 'Imamo, Arigatou'

Erika Ikuta's new song "Imamo, Arigatou" is now available on digital streaming platforms. The track serves as the ending theme for the anime "Ascendance of a Bookworm: The Adopted Daughter of a Lord."

The song features a Celtic-inspired sound that matches the anime's setting. It is a lead single from Ikuta's first full album, "I.K.T (I Know Tomorrow)," scheduled for release on April 22.

A music video for the song will premiere on YouTube on April 4 at 18:00 JST. The video incorporates elements from the anime's world.

Ikuta commented on the track, stating she sang with care, putting feelings into each word that are often too embarrassing to say aloud. She hopes the song resonates with the main character Myne's lingering feelings for her family.

A physical CD single of "Imamo, Arigatou" will be released on May 6. A campaign offering limited alternate sleeves for those who purchase both the album and single is also available. Details are on the artist's official site.

The anime "Ascendance of a Bookworm: The Adopted Daughter of a Lord" began its two consecutive cours broadcast on April 4 on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV affiliates, and starts on TOKYO MX on April 6.
