FouRTe Project Releases 2nd Single 'Edison's Castella' on January 1, 2026

FouRTe Project, a seven-member virtual idol group produced by ClaN Entertainment, will release their second single, 'Edison's Castella,' on January 1, 2026. The track will be available on major global streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.

The song has been selected as the opening theme for the January 2026 edition of the Japanese TV music program 'Buzz Rhythm 02.' The group debuted in September 2025 with their single 'Kimi ga Kimi de Kimi dakara.'

'Edison's Castella' combines the unexpected motifs of inventor Thomas Edison and the traditional Japanese sponge cake, castella. The song features a catchy melody with a lively tempo, incorporating Offenbach's 'Can-Can' in a modern arrangement by ☆Taku Takahashi of m-flo. The lyrics, penned by Kanata Okajima, ayame, and ☆Taku Takahashi, include memorable phrases like 'Gingira Gingira Gingira Ore Edison.'

The track was recorded at NEW WORLD STUDIO in Shibuya and mixed at Daimonion Recordings. It was mastered by Manabu Matsumura at Universal Music Studios Harajuku.

FouRTe Project is themed around 'idols who carve out their destiny,' with characters designed using tarot card motifs.
