Free Fire Daybreak Anime Reveals Official PV, Story Details for 2027 Global Release

KADOKAWA and Garena have released the official promotional video and new story details for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of the mobile game Garena Free Fire. Titled Free Fire Daybreak, the series is scheduled for a worldwide release in Spring 2027.

The original game has been the world's most downloaded battle royale title for seven consecutive years, according to Sensor Tower data. Its fanbase is particularly strong across Latin America and Southeast Asia.

Free Fire Daybreak is set in the futuristic city of New Dawn. The story follows Kelly, a girl who loses her memory and awakens a power to "unlock" things on her 16th birthday. She investigates her past and the truth behind the Horizon Corporation's "Talent Bloom Program." The new PV features Kelly alongside other popular game characters like Hayato and Moko.

The anime is produced by studio CANDYBOX, directed by Ken Takahashi, with series composition and script by Hotaru Asato. The score is composed by Koji Fujimoto of Sus4 Inc.

Global English-language social media accounts for the anime are active on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. The primary website and X account remain Japanese-only. The game Garena Free Fire is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
