French Educational Anime 'Little Malabar' Debuts in Japan

French educational anime 'Little Malabar' will be available in Japan from January 10, 2026, on Netflix, Prime Video, and U-NEXT. Konomi Kohara voices Malabar, known for roles in 'Kaguya-sama: Love is War' and 'Star Twinkle Precure'.

'Little Malabar' is already established in over 30 countries and 22 languages. The series consists of 52 episodes across two seasons, each episode lasting four minutes. It targets children aged 3 to 6, but its artistic style also appeals to adults.

The show will be available in Japanese, English, and French, with U-NEXT offering only the Japanese dubbed version. A Japanese official website has launched, providing character and episode introductions. A 'Little Malabar' book will release in 2026.
