Hatsune Miku Concert in Shanghai Draws Over 16,000 Fans

Hatsune Miku's 'MIKU WITH YOU 2025' concert in Shanghai attracted more than 16,000 attendees. Held on December 20 and 21 at the Jing'an Sports Center, the event featured four performances by virtual singers Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO.

The concert series, initiated in 2017 to celebrate Hatsune Miku's 10th anniversary, included a 3DCG concert and an exhibition. This year's theme was 'Magic Academy,' with visuals by illustrator Rumoon and a theme song 'Mag1c' by music producer magens, both local creators.

Hatsune Miku and her fellow virtual singers are not just performance avatars but also music production software. Users can input lyrics and melodies to generate singing voices, making them a 'vocal instrument.'

Since her creation by Crypton Future Media in 2007, Hatsune Miku has become a global icon.
