ILLIT Releases Anime Opening Theme 'Bubee'

ILLIT's third Japanese digital single, "Bubee," is now available on streaming platforms. The track serves as the opening theme for the TV anime Mahou no Shimai Luluttolilly.

The dance-pop track blends Shibuya-kei and J-Pop elements, and its title is derived from the word "Buddy." The lyrics were written by singer-songwriter noa, who also contributed to the group's previous single. Choreographer Sako Makida, known for viral TikTok dances, created a paired challenge routine for the song.

ILLIT recently launched their first live tour in Japan, titled 'ILLIT LIVE "PRESS START(HEART)".' The tour includes 11 shows across five cities from March through July.
