'Iwamoto Senpai no Suisen' Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation

The manga 'Iwamoto Senpai no Suisen', serialized in Ultra Jump, is set for a TV anime adaptation by Studio DEEN. This historical supernatural series, set in 1910s Japan, follows Iwamoto Godo, a student tasked by the military to investigate paranormal phenomena and recommend individuals with special abilities for military use.

The teaser visual features Iwamoto standing amidst burning spider lilies, hinting at the series' atmospheric tone. The first promotional video shows Iwamoto traversing snowy landscapes, seeking out supernatural occurrences and unique individuals.

Key voice cast members include Taito Ban as Iwamoto Godo, Yuki Sakakibara as Haramachi Kai, and Kento Ito as Amano Soichiro. The narrative explores Iwamoto's interactions with various ability users, blending historical context with supernatural elements.

Director Toshifumi Kawase, series composer Keiichiro Ochi, and character designer Atsuko Nakajima lead the production team.
