=LOVE releases music video for 20th single 'Gekiyaku Chudoku'

The idol group =LOVE has released the music video for 'Gekiyaku Chudoku,' the title track of their upcoming 20th single. The song features Noguchi Orio and Sasaki Maika as double centers, portraying a love described as an inescapable, passionate poison.

The digital single began streaming on February 17. It reached 10 million streams in eight days, the fastest in the group's history.

The music video, directed by Shingu Ryohei, is set in a laboratory that produces a potent love drug. It follows a story where the boundaries between duty and affection blur for the characters played by Noguchi and Sasaki.

The single 'Gekiyaku Chudoku' is scheduled for physical release on April 1. It will be available in multiple editions with different bonus content, including DVDs and Blu-rays featuring live performances from their 8th Anniversary Premium Tour.

=LOVE is currently on their 8th Anniversary Premium Tour. The tour finale is set for April 18 and 19 at Yokohama Stadium in Kanagawa Prefecture. The group has also announced a stadium live event for June 20 and 21 at Tokyo's MUFG Stadium (National Stadium).

The group's previous single, 'Tokube Chu, Shite,' has surpassed 130 million cumulative streams. Its TikTok videos have amassed over 2.2 billion plays. Their October release, 'Love Song ni Osowareru,' has exceeded 53 million streams.
