Manga 'Jinshi no Bannin' Marks 1st Year with Animated Short

The manga Jinshi no Bannin (Guardian of the Divine Envoy) has released a special animated video to celebrate its first year of serialization. Voice actors Hirose Yuuya and Kawashima Reiji reprise their roles for the short, titled Kagohō Maru.

The series is published on Earth Star Entertainment's Comic Earth Star website. The plot follows Kuratsuki, a young man who partners with a divine envoy named Inumaru to battle monsters known as Magatsukami.

The new video focuses on the duo's daily life, showing Inumaru's overprotective nature towards his human partner. It follows a previously released voice comic for the first chapter and several promotional videos.

In a comment, Hirose Yuuya (Kuratsuki) thanked fans for their support over the past year. Kawashima Reiji (Inumaru) noted he enjoys the series' comedic moments, which contrast with its life-or-death battles.

The first chapter of Jinshi no Bannin is available to read for free on the Comic Earth Star website. Physical volumes can be purchased through retailers like Amazon Japan.

Other related videos, including the first chapter's voice comic and a volume 2 promotional video, are available on the official YouTube channel.
