Previous entries include covers by YOGEE NEW WAVES's Kengo Kakudate and Tokimeki Records.

Morita Myuto selected the song himself. "It's my number one love song," the artist said in a statement. "The feeling of poking at someone while swaying your hair in a nostalgic way. It's irresistible."

The track is produced by singer and artist SPENSR. This is Morita's first widely distributed release under his own name.

The digital single will be available on global streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music. A physical CD is scheduled for release in Japan on July 1, with a 7-inch vinyl edition planned for a later date.
