Motoki Ohmori Announces First Mini-Album 'OITOMA'

Motoki Ohmori, the frontman of Mrs. GREEN APPLE, will release his first mini-album on February 24, 2026. The album is titled OITOMA.

The six-track collection includes the title songs from his previous digital EPs—French, Midnight, and Gaka (Painting)—along with his hit song Memento Mori and a self-cover of Kotaeawase, a track he originally wrote for the NHK program Tensai Terebikun. The lead single is a new song, 0.2mm, which serves as the theme for the film 90 Meters, opening in Japan on March 27.

The album will be available digitally via a universal link. A physical music card bundled with six types of goods inspired by the songs will also be released.

Ohmori began his solo career in 2021 with the digital EP French. His band, Mrs. GREEN APPLE, holds the record for most consecutive wins of the Japan Record Award by a band, taking the prize in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Thirty-one of the band's songs have surpassed 100 million streams. Ohmori has also topped the Billboard Japan songwriter charts for three consecutive years.

Beyond music, Ohmori served as planner and general producer for the 2024 concert film The White Lounge in CINEMA and made his acting debut in the 2025 film #Shinsou wo Ohanashi Shimasu.

The mini-album OITOMA is available for pre-save and streaming here.
