Netflix Releases 'Super Kaguya-Hime!' with Ryo (supercell) Remix

Netflix has globally released the original animation film 'Super Kaguya-Hime!' directed by Shingo Yamashita. Known for his work on 'Jujutsu Kaisen' and 'Chainsaw Man,' this marks Yamashita's debut as a feature film director. The film, available from January 22, 2026, ranked first on YouTube's 'Trending Movies' with over 15 million views.

The film features music by Vocaloid producers ryo (supercell), kz (livetune), and HoneyWorks. The standout track, 'World is Mine CPK! Remix (Kaguya & Tsukimi Yachiyo ver.),' has been released as a music video. This remix of the 2009 hit 'World is Mine' by ryo (supercell) is performed by the virtual singer Tsukimi Yachiyo, voiced by Saori Hayami. The video quickly surpassed 15 million views.

The music video showcases Kaguya and Yachiyo in poses reminiscent of the original Hatsune Miku video, with illustrations by redjuice. The remix is characterized by its uptempo beat and deep bass, creating a dynamic live performance feel. The film's live scenes feature unique choreography and vocals.

The animation is a collaboration between Studio Colorido and Studio Chromato, led by Yamashita. The film explores the virtual world 'Tsukuyomi,' and follows the story of high school student Iroha Sakayori and her interactions with the enigmatic Kaguya.
