Onshoku Kenbi Releases Bilingual Single 'Shining Planet'

The vocal project 音色兼備 (Onshoku Kenbi) is set to release their new single 'Shining Planet' on January 18, 2026. The single will be available in both Japanese and English versions. Streaming platforms include Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.

Onshoku Kenbi, a sound and visual creative team by BEST OF MISS, features vocalists Kaya Tsuruta and Shion Aoyagi. The project aims to blend music, beauty, and storytelling. 'Shining Planet' combines classical vocal techniques with pop and cinematic sounds.

The single was previously used as the opening theme for Miss Planet Japan 2025. The Japanese version emphasizes delicate emotional expression.

Vocalist Kaya Tsuruta, a Tokyo native, has a background in opera and musical theatre. She has received accolades such as the Jury Prize at the All Japan Junior Classical Music Competition. Her co-vocalist, Shion Aoyagi, hails from Okinawa and has won the Lady Universe 2024 world title. Both artists bring diverse talents to the project.

The single 'Shining Planet' is produced by Hiroki Uchida, founder of BEST OF MISS.
