Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai Episode 5 Preview Released

TV Tokyo has released the synopsis and screenshots for Episode 5 of the anime Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai. The episode, titled "Even Super Spicy Food, the End of Exams, or a Bath Scene Can't Change It, So It Won't Become a Love Comedy," airs on February 2.

Final exams are over, and the characters Shio and Akari are already looking ahead to summer vacation. However, the protagonist E-Yu returns home with a serious expression, worried that distractions have affected his studies. He begins studying intensely, ignoring his friends' attempts to make summer plans. Shio, Akari, and Runako then try a new tactic to get his attention.

The anime is based on the manga by Sanya Mitsusaki, serialized in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket. The story follows high schooler Kai E-Yu, who is obsessed with love comedies but believes they can't happen with real-life childhood friends.

A special Valentine's Day event called AKIVALENTINE will be held in Akihabara on February 15. Voice actors Rin Hisagumi (Mio Mizumo) and Yuki Yamamoto (Haru Hinata) will appear on stage, with MC Gets. The event is physical only, with no announced stream.

AT-X is also airing a special mini-program, "Osalove' Cast no Love Comedy Special," featuring the cast after each episode.
