Reincarnated as a Dragon's Egg Anime Premieres January 2026

The TV anime Reincarnated as a Dragon's Egg is set to hit screens in January 2026. Based on the popular Square Enix novel series, this fantasy adventure is one to watch.

Leading up to the premiere, you can catch interviews with voice actors Shunichi Toki (as Ilusia) and Miku Itou (as Miria) on the official YouTube channel. They've teamed up with the show's mascot, Ilusia-kun, for a fun challenge series. Spoiler: it involves hoops, dribbles, and even an egg bowling rematch!

Ilusia, voiced by Shunichi Toki, is a character who finds himself reincarnated as a dragon's egg. With faint memories of a past life, his path is all about evolving into a mighty dragon while trying to befriend humans. Meanwhile, Miku Itou's Miria, a gentle healer living in a forest village, gets tangled in an incident involving a baby dragon.

The anime is a collaboration with some top-notch talent. Directed by Yuta Takamura, with monster designs by Hiroyasu Oda and music composed by Yukio Ohtani, it's set to be an exciting watch. Not to mention the opening theme by Sizuk and the ending track by Douou & Sakujaku.
