Rol3ert releases new single 'Boy' produced by Taka Perry, announces Summer Sonic 2026

Rol3ert released his new single 'Boy' on April 24. The track was produced by Australian producer Taka Perry, known for work with KATSEYE, Ruel, SIRUP, and iri.

The 20-year-old singer-songwriter will perform at Summer Sonic 2026 in Tokyo on August 14. He is part of the Spotify Stage lineup for the festival's 'RADAR: Early Noise Special' segment.

The music video for 'Boy' premiered on Rol3ert's official YouTube channel at 10 PM JST on April 24. The video depicts a 'Boy' trapped in a specific timeframe through silhouettes, magic hour lighting, and backlight effects.

Rol3ert conducted an Instagram Live session at 9:30 PM JST prior to the video premiere, discussing the song's background with a live performance.

The single is available on global digital platforms. Rol3ert has three tracks exceeding one million streams on Spotify and was selected for the 'RADAR: Early Noise 2026' playlist. His previous single 'savior' appeared on Spotify's 'New Music Friday' in 22 countries.

He is scheduled for several festival appearances throughout 2026, including ARABAKI ROCK FEST.26 on April 25, VIVA LA ROCK 2026 on May 6, and Mediacorp CLOUD 9 in Singapore on May 9.

Rol3ert will also embark on a joint tour with REJAY in May, performing in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
