Sakaki Nao releases new digital single 'Tropical Fish'

Sakaki Nao released her seventh digital single, "Tropical Fish" (熱帯魚), on February 11. The track and its music video are available now.

The song is a pop track with prominent piano, described as depicting a romance set in an aquarium. Sakaki Nao handles both the lyrics and composition.

The music video presents a modern, comedic take on the Japanese folktale "Tsuru no Ongaeshi" (The Grateful Crane), recast as "The Grateful Tropical Fish."

The release comes via Scrum Wave Music, a new label launched through a partnership between NTT Docomo Studio & Live and eggman, the management company behind bands like sumika and SUPER BEAVER.
