Science SARU's 'Tenmaku no Jardugal' and 'Ghost in the Shell' Share Collaboration Art

Science SARU has released a collaboration illustration between two of its currently airing anime series: Tenmaku no Jardugal and the new Ghost in the Shell: THE GHOST IN THE SHELL television anime.

The art was created by Abel Gongora, who serves as director for Tenmaku no Jardugal. Both series are animated by the studio Science SARU, known for works like Dandadan, Inu-Oh, and Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!

The new Ghost in the Shell anime is now airing. Episode 6 premieres on Japanese television on August 11. The episode will be available on Prime Video starting at 23:30 JST on August 11, with other streaming platforms following from August 12.

The series features Maaya Sakamoto as Major Motoko Kusanagi, with music supervision and composition by Taisei Iwasaki. The opening theme "GO GHOST" is by King Gnu, and the ending theme "Blue" is by MILLENNIUM PARADE.

Tenmaku no Jardugal, a historical drama set in the 13th-century Mongol Empire, is based on the award-winning manga by Tomato Soup. It airs Saturdays on TV Asahi's "IMAnimation" block. The anime is directed by Abel Gongora with series composition by Kanichi Katou, and features an opening theme by SEKAI NO OWARI.
