Takane no Nadeshiko Releases New Single 'Ikiteryaii'

HoneyWorks-produced idol group Takane no Nadeshiko released their new single "Ikiteryaii" on May 13. The song's music video premiered the same day.

The track debuted live at the group's tour final at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on May 6. Its title translates to "It's Okay to Be Alive."

The music video depicts a pop, colorful world, showing the nine members in what appears to be their daily lives.

The single is tied to a domestic campaign with instant noodle brand Acecook Harusame, running through July 31. A limited-edition collaborative noodle product, "Soup Harusame Mālā Nyān," went on sale in Japan on May 11.

Several Japan-exclusive digital campaigns offer promotional items. These include a LINE MUSIC campaign rewarding 9,999 streams with a group trading card, a download campaign on services like iTunes Store and Recochoku, and a YouTube timestamp comment campaign.

The product campaign itself involves a receipt-based lottery for original goods, including wireless headphones and acrylic stands.

Takane no Nadeshiko has upcoming domestic events: "Takanko Fes vol.6" on July 12 at EX THEATER Roppongi, a 4th anniversary special live on August 6 at KT Zepp Yokohama, and a 4th fan meeting on August 7 at Hulic Hall Tokyo.

"Ikiteryaii" is available on major streaming platforms.
