Tezuka's 'Black Jack' Gets a Comedic Spin-Off by YouTuber Sorotani

Osamu Tezuka's iconic manga 'Black Jack' has been reimagined in a comedic spin-off by YouTube creator Sorotani. The series, titled 'Black Jack Yanen', is part of the third season of the web anime brand 'Sukima no Anime' and is available globally on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

Sorotani's channel 'Sorotani no Animetchi' has over 1 billion views, known for its comedic reinterpretations of classic anime. The series features the unlicensed genius surgeon Black Jack as a quirky character who often undermines his own cool demeanor. His assistant, Pinoko, delivers witty remarks in Kansai dialect, adding to the humor.

The series consists of 12 short episodes, each featuring patients with various ailments seeking Black Jack's help. New episodes are released every Thursday at 7 AM JST.
