TOAST CLUB Releases New Single 'Mean Girl' Ahead of Summer EP

The band is fronted by Tommy Villiers, known as one half of the UK drum & bass duo piri&tommy. "Mean Girl" features a steady bassline, driving synths, and fluid vocal melodies. The lyrics describe a "first date."

The band's last vocal release was the 2025 track "Cafe Pacific," which surpassed one million streams across platforms. "Cafe Pacific" was previously featured on the Japanese NHK program 'Hoshino Gen and Matsushige Yutaka's Friends.'

TOAST CLUB emerged from London's Windmill live music scene. The band has drawn comparisons to acts like Parcels, Vulfpeck, and Steely Dan.

The new single "Mean Girl" is available now on streaming platforms via The Orchard.
