Tsunku♂'s Legendary Maid Idol Unit 'Kanzen Maid Sengen' Releases 12 Songs Digitally

The 12-track catalog from the early 2000s maid idol unit Kanzen Maid Sengen will be available on digital music platforms from February 4. All songs were written and composed by the renowned producer Tsunku♂.

The unit was formed in 2005 by active maids from the Akihabara cafe At-home Cafe. Their hit song "Moe Moe Kyun" became a popular chant and the unit's phrase "Moe~" earned a top ten spot in Japan's 2005 Buzzword Awards.

The tracklist features songs like "Meiding Story," "Valentine ~Aikome Handmade Chocolate~," and "Maid no Shin Cinderella Story." The unit was active until its dissolution in 2007.

In a provided comment, Tsunku♂ reflected on the project, noting it was done without publicly crediting him as the writer. "With each work, I felt a response," he said. "The works are still fun and bright to listen to now."

Original member hitomi now serves as a "Legend Maid" and Chief Branding Officer for the brand. At-home Cafe now operates multiple locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, and runs a virtual metaverse branch.
