TV Anime 'Tenmaku no Jaadugar' Set for July 2026 Premiere

The TV anime adaptation of the award-winning manga 'Tenmaku no Jaadugar' will premiere in July 2026. It will air across 24 networks on TV Asahi and BS Asahi. The anime is produced by Science SARU, known for its innovative animation style.

Naoko Yamada serves as chief director, with Abel Gongora as director. Kenichi Yoshida handles character design and animation direction, while Kanichi Kato is responsible for series composition. Hino Hiroshi provides the music.

The story is set in 13th century Mongolia and follows the journey of Sitara, a young girl caught in the tides of history. The manga, serialized in Akita Shoten's 'Souffle', has received accolades, including first place in Takarajimasha's 'Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2023' for women and consecutive rankings in the 'Manga Taisho' awards.

A teaser PV has been released, showcasing Sitara navigating the vibrant bazaars and architecture of 13th century Iran, brought to life with Science SARU's unique animation style.

Science SARU, known for works like 'Devilman Crybaby' and 'Heike Monogatari'.
