Ultraman Teo, New Series for 60th Anniversary, Sets July 2026 Global Premiere

Tsuburaya Productions announced a new television series, 'Ultraman Teo,' to commemorate the Ultraman franchise's 60th anniversary. The series will premiere in Japan on TV Tokyo's network on July 4, 2026, at 9:00 AM JST, with a simultaneous multi-language broadcast and distribution planned worldwide.

The series follows Teo, a lone alien from the destroyed planet H12. Living on Earth as a third-year veterinary student named Ibuki, he transforms into the blue giant Ultraman Teo to protect his new home when monsters attack.

Actor Ao Iwasaki, 21, will star as the protagonist, Ibuki. This marks his first leading role in a television drama. The series composition and script are by Shigenori Tanabe, with Takashi Ninomiya serving as main director and Takanori Tsujimoto as the main special effects director.
