VOCALOID6 IA :[R] Launches with AI and Trilingual Singing

The VOCALOID voicebank IA has been updated for the VOCALOID6 engine. The new product, VOCALOID6 IA :[R] -ARIA ON THE PLANETES-, launches January 27, 2026.

This is the first major update for the character's core voicebank in 14 years. The software incorporates AI technology for more natural vocal expression and supports singing in Japanese, English, and Chinese within a single voicebank.

Three demo songs have been released: "Alkanaidea" by gaburyu, "Silly Teller" by r-906, and "Remind" by ■37.

A special anniversary live stream, 'IA & ONE ANNIVERSARY PARTY. -SPECIAL TALK & LIVE-', is scheduled for January 27 at 19:00 JST on the ARIA ON THE PLANETES YouTube channel.

The character's visual design has also changed, moving from her signature long hair to a short hairstyle. The product's title uses the suffix ":[R]" to represent concepts of Rebirth, Resonance, and Rebreath.

Several purchase options are available. The standard VOCALOID6 IA :[R] voicebank is offered as a download (¥11,220), package (¥13,200), or first-press limited edition (¥15,840). A Starter Pack bundling the voicebank with the VOCALOID6 Editor is also available. A DUO PACKAGE includes both the new VOCALOID6 IA :[R] and the legacy VOCALOID3 IA voicebank.

First-press editions include a SPECIAL GOODS SET with a cassette tape, acrylic keychain, and holographic stickers, available for order via Booth.
