VTubers Launch Watch-Along Project for Anime 'Jashin-chan Dropkick'

Five VTubers will host live watch-alongs of the anime 'Jashin-chan Dropkick' starting February 21. The project is organized by RASEN to promote the series and its sync-watch app, RASENWATCH.

Himeno Ekopi will lead the project with two live streams on YouTube, covering all 12 episodes of the first season. The streams are scheduled for February 21 and 22 at 1:00 PM JST.

Four other VTubers—Akuma Lasta, Ponokichi Tomoyose, Tsubaki Yamakawa, and Raira Arai—will post short reaction clips and host their own live watch sessions. Links to all five VTuber channels are included in the project announcement.

Archived versions of the streams will be added to the RASENWATCH app. The free web app and Chrome extension syncs YouTube videos with streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, d Anime Store, and U-NEXT for a shared viewing experience.

The anime 'Jashin-chan Dropkick' follows a demon summoned to live with a college student in Tokyo. The series has aired multiple seasons since 2018.
