XG executive producer SIMON appeared as the first guest on the TBS podcast 'ASIANFILTER'.

SIMON described the current XG as still being newcomers, stating that their true 'Phase 1' is just beginning. He defined music as "the most sustainable energy humanity can leave behind" and expressed a desire to create sounds that reach even extraterrestrials. His stated goal is universal peace.

SIMON said he wants to make music that, 50 years from now, he and the members—as elderly women—can listen to and agree was their best. He revealed a strict personal policy of constantly questioning whether his future self would find his current decisions regrettable.

SIMON in a suit

SIMON recounted bringing large quantities of the fermented soybeans from Japan to freeze and eat while living in South Korea. He also detailed a personal method for introducing natto to reluctant Korean friends.

Turning 40 this year, SIMON disclosed plans to relocate to the United States in May to expand his production base.
