Yorushika releases digital album 'Second Person' with 22 tracks

Yorushika released the digital album 'Second Person' on March 4. The 22-track collection is the duo's first full album in about three years.

The album includes 12 new songs alongside previously released tracks like 'Taiyou,' 'Haruru,' and 'Wasurete Kudasai.' One new song, 'Chidori,' was inspired by a poem by Kenji Miyazawa. Member n-buna noted the track features a driving horn section and intricate guitar work.

The music video for the song 'Chidori' was directed by CG creator Kota Morie, marking their fifth collaboration. The video features a dancer in a deer mask, a boy playing guitar seen in previous videos, and a female singer performing on stage.

The pre-released track 'Plaesick' was used as the theme song for a Daihatsu Move Canbus Stripes TV commercial last summer.

The album 'Second Person' is based on a novel of the same name, for which n-buna provided the original concept and writing. The novel was published by Kodansha on February 26.

The album is available digitally worldwide. A physical CD release is not planned.
