YOSHIKI Announces Emergency Live Talk with Media Artist Yoichi Ochiai

YOSHIKI will host a live talk with media artist and researcher Yoichi Ochiai on his official broadcast channel. The emergency stream was announced by YOSHIKI during a live broadcast on January 25.

The discussion will take place in Tokyo on January 29 at 6:00 PM JST. It will be streamed live via YouTube Channel Membership, with a dedicated English-simulcast link provided for international viewers. A separate stream will be available on Niconico Channel for viewers in Japan.

The two first connected during the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, where YOSHIKI visited a pavilion created by Ochiai. They have since discussed topics like AI and the future of art on YOSHIKI's channel.

Ochiai is an associate professor at the University of Tsukuba and a media artist known for work that intersects digital technology, AI, and physicality. He served as a theme project producer for the Osaka-Kansai Expo.

YOSHIKI is preparing for his "YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 2026" concerts at Tokyo Garden Theater in April.
