Yukari releases new single 'Hatsume'

The alternative pop band Yukari has released a new digital single, 'Hatsume'. The track is available now on streaming and download platforms worldwide.

Vocalist and guitarist Yufuri described the song as the band's most pop-oriented work to date. The lyrics, themed around excitement, feature a time machine in a sci-fi style narrative, incorporating each member's interpretation.

'We think of it as an 'invention' for us,' Yufuri said. 'Through trial and error, we were able to recreate the world of this song.'

Yukari will perform at a live event in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo on April 10, the same day as the single's release. A second live performance is scheduled for April 21 at Shimokitazawa MOSAiC as part of another band's release tour.

The single 'Hatsume' was released via the distribution service ZULA. The song is available at the official distribution link.
