Elmiene and Fujii Kaze Release Collaboration Single 'Comets + Gold'

British R&B artist Elmiene and Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze have released a new collaborative single, "Comets + Gold." The track is available now on global streaming platforms.

The collaboration began after Fujii Kaze posted a cover of Elmiene's song "Someday" on YouTube. Elmiene visited Japan during the Christmas holidays, spending several days with Fujii Kaze to write and record the new song.

"Working with Kaze felt very natural in many ways," Elmiene said.

The official music video, filmed in Los Angeles, premiered on June 19. Elmiene will return to Japan in August to perform at Summer Sonic 2026. A domestic Japanese edition of his album 'sounds for someone' is scheduled for release on July 31.

Fujii Kaze's "Prema World Tour" is set for Asia this fall, with European and North American dates planned for summer 2027.

The single "Comets + Gold" is available via Universal Music. Fujii Kaze's cover of "Someday" can be viewed on YouTube.
