New 'Pretty Series' Anime 'Onegai Aipri' Sets April Premiere

The latest entry in the long-running Pretty Series franchise, 'Onegai Aipri', will premiere on April 5, 2026. The anime will air Sundays at 9:30 AM on TV Tokyo and its affiliates.

The series follows middle school student Konomi Inori, who loves the singing and dancing idol princesses known as 'Aipri'. After wishing for a chance to become one at a statue in Onegai Town, she meets popular Aipri Aoi and a mysterious talking plushie named Fortune. They give Inori a special 'Mirror Pact' device, setting her on the path to a debut.

The series is directed by Junichi Fujisaku and Masahiro Matsunaga, with animation by OLM and DONGWOO A&E. The main cast includes Hana Ogawa as Inori, Rika Kano as Aoi, and Yō Taichi as Fortune.

The opening theme, 'Onegai Aipri!', will be performed by 'onegai kanae tai'. The ending theme, 'Houkago no Onegai!', is by 'Iginari Tohokusan'.

Concurrent with the anime launch, two new arcade games—'Onegai Aipri' and 'Aipri Verse'—will launch in Japanese arcades starting April 2. A line of toys based on items from the show, including the Mirror Pact and a microphone penlight, will also be released in Japan.
