STU48's Chiho Ishida Releases Graduation Solo MV 'Future Continuer'

STU48 member Chiho Ishida has released the music video for her graduation solo song, 'Mirai e Tsuzuku Mono yo' (Future Continuer). The video premiered on the group's official YouTube channel.

Ishida, an original first-generation member, will graduate on June 7. The song is a B-side on STU48's 13th single, 'Suki Sugite Naku'.

The MV, directed by Daisuke Shimada, depicts Ishida packing a trunk with personal mementos from her nine-year career. Items include a name tag, maracas, a recorder, and a trophy from the AKB48 World Senbatsu General Election.

Scenes show her walking alone in a city and by the sea. A version of herself in the costume from her first center song, 'Hitorigoto de Kataru Kurai nara', turns to say goodbye. The current Ishida then closes the trunk.

Ishida joined STU48 in 2017. She was selected for every single, served as the sole center for two, and was part of a three-person center for another. She also performed with AKB48 on the 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.

Her graduation concerts are scheduled for May 31 at Tokyo's Kanadevia Hall and June 7 at the Hiroshima Prefectural Culture Center.

The 13th single 'Suki Sugite Naku' and its title track MV are available on streaming platforms and YouTube.
