HALCALI Reunites for SUMMER SONIC 2026 After Global Viral Hit

The rap duo HALCALI will reunite for a performance at SUMMER SONIC 2026. They are scheduled for the Spotify Stage on August 16 at the festival's Chiba venue.

Their last festival appearance was at COUNTDOWN JAPAN 12/13 in December 2012.

The reunion follows the global viral success of their 2005 track "Otsukare SUMMER." The song has surpassed 6.5 billion views on TikTok and charted on Spotify's Viral Top 50 in over 35 countries. It also reached number one on TikTok's Viral 50 chart in Japan and has over 150 million cumulative streams.

Produced by FPM's Tomoyuki Tanaka, the song had no single release or tie-up promotion at the time.

RIP SLYME's RYO-Z and DJ FUMIYA produce the duo through their O.T.F (Oshare Track Factory) label.
