Yuichi Ikuzawa's BLACK ZAPSA persona releases 'BLACK CHRISTMAS' single

Yuichi Ikuzawa, vocalist for the band BLAZE, will release a new digital single under his BLACK ZAPSA persona. The track, titled 'BLACK CHRISTMAS', is scheduled for release on March 15, 2026.

The song is the fourth installment in the BLACK CHRISTMAS project. It is described as a heavy metal horror anthem that presents a dark inversion of traditional Christmas themes.

BLACK ZAPSA handled songwriting and arrangement alongside Issei Anbo. Mixing and mastering was completed by Tsuyoshi Inoue.

Ikuzawa began his music career in 1974. He is known for his work with bands like TWINZER and BLAZE, and gained wider recognition as the vocalist for King Cream Soda on the anime theme song "Geragera Po no Uta" for Yo-kai Watch.
