Anime 'I Want to Love You Until You Die' Reveals Episode 3 Preview and Blu-ray Details

The anime adaptation of Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai (I Want to Love You Until You Die) has released promotional materials for its third episode. A synopsis, web preview, and two new episode posters are now available.

The episode, titled "Tomodachi" (Friends), follows protagonist Shiina as she adjusts to life with her roommate Mimi. After a month together, Shiina learns more about Mimi's personality and habits, but remains unsettled by Mimi's cheerful demeanor before heading off to war.

The anime's Blu-ray release schedule has been confirmed. Volume 1, containing episodes 1-4, arrives on October 28, 2026. A limited edition will include an acrylic stand and tapestry illustrated by original manga creator Aono Nachi.

Volume 2 follows on November 27, and Volume 3 completes the series on December 25. All volumes will include bonus features, including pilot films and PV collections. Store-specific bonus details are listed on the official website.

The series' theme songs are now available on major streaming platforms. The opening theme "Amore" is performed by ReoNa, with music by Pan of LIVE LAB. The ending theme "Eternel" is by sajou no hana, a project also involving ReoNa.

An official web radio program, Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai Radio no Jikan, is hosted by Shiina's voice actress Rie Takahashi. New episodes stream every other Friday on Onsen and the Infinite YouTube channel.

The anime is based on Aono Nachi's yuri manga, serialized on Ichijin Plus. The story follows Shiina, a 14-year-old girl raised in a school that trains children as weapons of war, and her encounter with a bloodstained girl named Mimi.
