Anime 'Tenmaku no Jardugal' Sets Queen Bee's 'Star' as Ending Theme

The anime adaptation of the manga Tenmaku no Jardugal premieres July 4, 2026, with a new ending theme by Queen Bee. The song "Star" will be available for streaming and download globally on July 5.

Produced by the acclaimed studio Science SARU, the series is set in the 13th-century Mongol Empire. It follows a young woman named Shitara who, after being taken captive, uses her intellect to infiltrate the imperial court.

The band Queen Bee wrote "Star" specifically for the anime. In a comment, Avu-chan said the song was inspired by the protagonist's immense sense of vengeance. The track will be released digitally on July rowHTML:5, with a CD following on August 5.

The original manga by Tomato Soup won first place in Takarajimasha's "Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2023" women's ranking and received the Grand Prize at the 55th Japan Cartoonists Association Awards. The anime will be directed by Abel Gongora, with series composition by Kanichi Katou and character design by Kenichi Yoshida.

The opening theme "Stella" is by SEKAI NO OWARI. The anime will air on TV Asahi's network and its BS/CS channels. Streaming will begin on July 5 across multiple platforms, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu.
