Bajune Tobeta Revealed as Producer Behind Anonymous Piano Project Classy Moon, Announces Fennesz Collaboration

The anonymous piano project Classy Moon, nominated for Best Instrumental at MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026, has revealed its producer. Composer and CROA Inc. CEO Bajune Tobeta is the creative force behind the project.

A new single, 'After the Silence,' is set for global release on June 26. The track is a collaboration between Tobeta and Austrian ambient electronic artist Christian Fennesz.

The project's direction is handled by Takuya Okubo, General Manager of CROA's Business Division.

'After the Silence' was created between Tokyo and Vienna. A five-track EP titled 'Anechoic' will follow on August 14.

Bajune Tobeta began his career working under Ryuichi Sakamoto. His debut solo album featured Sakamoto, Yukihiro Takahashi, and Taeko Onuki. His production and collaboration credits include CHARA, CHEMISTRY's Dohchin Yoshikuni, and Mummy-D of RHYMESTER. He has also worked with international artists like Sergio Mendes and Arto Lindsay.
