Filmarks' 2026 First-Half Anime Ranking Led by JoJo's Steel Ball Run

The Japanese review service Filmarks has released its ranking of the highest-rated anime series from the first half of 2026. The list is based on user scores from the platform's domestic user base.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run took the top spot with a score of 4.45. The adaptation of the manga's seventh part premiered in April 2026.

Dorohedoro Season 2 ranked second with a score of 4.33. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2 followed in third place with a score of 4.29.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Shibuya Incident - Part 1 placed tenth with a score of 4.20. Other titles in the top ten include Golden Kamuy Final Chapter and Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE.

The ranking considered series that aired or streamed in Japan between January 1 and June 30, 2026, and had at least 800 user reviews on the service.
