GATE SEASON2 Anime Launches Global Contest for Official Ending Theme

The production committee for the upcoming anime 'GATE SEASON2' has opened a public contest for its official ending theme song. The winner will receive 7 million yen and have their track featured in the 2027 broadcast.

The contest is held in collaboration with the VOCALOID Collection 2026 Summer event. Submissions are open from August 21 to August 24, 2026. Entries must be original songs, primarily created using vocal synthesis software, and must be first-time uploads to Nico Nico Douga.

No specific theme or assignment is required. The anime's production staff will select the track they deem most fitting for the series' world. The chosen creator must then collaborate on edits for the 90-second broadcast version.
